Assignment for 1-06-06Describe your current surroundings using the most detail possible.Sitting here I see my entire life around me. I'm confined to a small bedroom that contains everything I need to live my day to day life. My bed is in shambles. Mismatched blankets and cover-less pillows are tossed hurriedly. Gray walls do not mirror my attitude (they just compliment the black carpet nicely). When I say "I", I might as well say "we". Mike and I share this room, so it's even more of a clash. Nothing matches. His furniture is metal - cold steel. Mine is warm wood. Doggie treats are scattered about. The most annoying thing in the world: Wires are EVERYWHERE. It looks like giant copper colored snakes are swirling in an orgy of glee on our floor. I've always thought black and gray look so good together. They do. Except when everything else in your room is completely inappropriate for such a dramatic scheme. Everything in here seems so generic. But I think that's because I look at it all the time. ALL THE TIME. Your room should be the most comfortable place in your life. As much as I try to organize this place, with two people living in here, with all of our stuff combined, it just creates disaster.I don't mean to give off the impression that I hate my space, I do not. I dream of returning to it when I am away. Being in an unorganized space just causes my mind to be unorganized. I'm actually looking at it in the heat of darkness and it seems rather pleasant. My lovely boyfriend curled up with our little Chihuahua - it looks peaceful. Right now, that's all I can really see in my room - two glowing boxes, and the loves of my life.

Were you planning to explain what grammatical errors I made? (I'm a grammar nazi and I like to know what I need to do to improve :) )
Yeah, I've got to get to that. I just wanted to give you at least something for now, so you would know I actually read what you wrote. Tomorrow, I will give you a full evaluation!:)
